Hampshire Care Limited is an established registered provider of respite, residential, domiciliary care in Southampton called Mercury House.
Our Ethos
Our service has an ethos which states that the care and support will be delivered based on an individual’s strengths, which along with a holistic person-centred approach will ensure the care and/or support packages we deliver are bespoke and specific to the individual.
We aim to deliver our service to individuals with the addition of maintaining or improving skills for independence and wellbeing. We do this by working towards an outcome that draws on that person’s strengths and assets, to enable them to stay in the environments they want.
Building on Your Strengths
Our strengths-based approach is based upon the values that people hold that shape and influence their daily lives. Through this approach we hope to understand and endorse the individual. We make sure to also not focus on an individual’s problems or deficits, but instead draw attention to an individual’s abilities, talents and resources.
What We Provide
We offer an extension of reablement where we provide dedicated and qualified technicians/care/support workers to care, support and assess the individual’s ability. Once we have an understanding of the individual, we will work towards their goals and needs as set out in the care and support plans, empowering them and giving them the confidence to live in their own homes as independently as possible.
Mercury House
We currently have vacancies at mercury house for a permanent bed and a respite facility It is situated in the quiet suburb of Lordshill of Southampton. We are close to all amenities such as General hospital bus route and 5minutes walk to Lordshill shopping centre where there is Lordshill health centre, Lordshill dentist surgery, Lloyds pharmacy, Sainsbury supermarket, Library, other shops and Oaklands swimming pool. Also close to the new forest and local beaches.
